Bonjour! Ní Hao ! Hello ! 🇫🇷 🇨🇳 🇺🇸

I am Keith Nan, a multilingual educator of French and Mandarin in New York City Public School, and concurrently an instructional designer specializing in K-12 World Language instruction. Based in Bayside, Queens, I hold an EdM from Boston University, a graduate certificate from Université de Paris Nanterre, and a BA from Hunter College, the City University of New York. 

This portfolio showcases my work from the Penn State Learning Design Studio (LDT 550), focusing on how creative design solves real educational problems.

My expertise covers the three core areas of the course:

• Instructional Design: Creating interactive courses (Articulate Rise/Captivate) and engaging media (EdPuzzle).

• Visual Communication: Designing accessible educational resources, banners, and logos using Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.

• UX Design: Applying design thinking principles to wireframing and mobile app prototyping (Figma).

I am dedicated to applying thoughtful design choices to foster global competency and make language learning dynamic for every K-12 student.
